Robert Half Accounts Payable Manager in Carrollton, Texas

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in Carrollton, Texas. This role involves overseeing the accounts payable operations in our company, using the Epicor v10 system. We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the manual entry of every invoice into the Epicor v10 system.

• Supervise the recognition of cash transactions.

• Manage the complete cash process, including the documentation of operations.

• Ensure accuracy in account coding and rectify any mis-coding issues.

• Handle a high volume of transactions.

• Develop strategies to automate AP processes.

• Utilize accounting software systems and tools such as ADP - Financial Services and Concur for efficient data processing.

• Oversee all accounting functions related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accrual Accounting.

• Conduct regular auditing of accounts payable processes.

• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in account coding with a meticulous approach to ensure accuracy

• Familiarity and adeptness with accounting software systems to streamline work processes

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of financial operations

• Proficiency in Concur, showcasing the ability to manage expenses and invoices effectively

• Demonstrable skills in data processing, ensuring efficient management of large volumes of information

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable and accrual accounting

• Proven experience in auditing, ensuring compliance and identifying discrepancies

• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH), to facilitate electronic transactions efficiently

• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), showcasing the ability to manage and reconcile invoices

• Knowledge of accrual accounting principles to accurately represent financial realities of the business.
