Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center CAH - LPN in Carthage, New York
Pay Range: $24.16-$38.65*
CAH-Podiatry Clinic -LPN – Full Time Days-8a-5p- Req 7450
Provides care for patients in a clinic setting under the supervision of a Qualified Medical Practitioner (QMP). The Clinic Nurse performs tasks and responsibilities within the framework of teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a QMP. The Clinic Nurse ensures that compassionate, engaged care meets or exceeds quality standards. Care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the NYS licensure and Carthage Area Hospital standard of care. Under the supervision of a QMP, utilizes the nursing process to provide quality patient care. Practices in accordance with the New York State Practice Act, nursing department standards and hospital policy and procedures.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current New York State license as a Practical Nurse, or eligibility for licensure in the state of New York.
Minimum of one year experience in medical-surgical or clinical setting preferred.
Must be able to care for patients in all age groups.
