Jacobs Quality Controls Professional LSNA - Cary/Wilson, NC (21353) in Cary, North Carolina
At Jacobs, quality control is crucial to the success of our projects and a key component of the work we do with our clients. As a Quality Controls Professional, you’ll work with experienced QA/QC team members to complete contract documents, standards and specifications, while developing records and reports of inspections and assessments. You’ll help review and resolve technical problems, ensure compliance on inspections and help support field staff to ensure all quality inspections are complete. Based in Cary/Wilson, NC, you’ll have the chance to help monitor and inspect material at receipt and before installation when on site and report any recommended changes in materials or procedures to senior staff. You’ll own your career as you work on some of the most innovative projects of our time. You’ll help monitor quality and ensure compliance to regulatory and industry-specific standards while using your unique background and diverse perspective to help shape the success of project quality and Inspection test plans.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree; a certified technical training would be nice to have
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in the QA/QC field
• An understanding of local QA/QC codes and standards
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Effective oral and written communication
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience with Office 365 platforms that include but are not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, "ECT".
