ZLM Services LLC Landscaping Laborer in Casco, Michigan

ZLM Services LLC is seeking to fill six (6) temporary, full-time peakload Landscaping Laborer positions for April 1, 2025 to November 30, 2025. Worksite address: 9422 Marine City Hwy, Casco, MI 48064 and client properties in Macomb, St. Clair, Oakland, and Wayne counties.

Job Duties: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers must be able to perform a variety of tasks without close supervision, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, pruning, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. May drive crew vehicle. A driver's license is not required. If a worker has a non-commercial driver's license, they may drive a crew vehicle to worksites as needed.

Requirements:  No education or experience required. 

Special Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Ot, Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer paid post-hire random, post-accident, and upon suspicion of use drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers.

Terms and conditions of employment: $18.99/hour, 40 hours/week, Overtime available at $28.49 per hour. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-5:00PM. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.  Employees will be paid weekly on Friday. Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations.  On the job training available.  Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Workers will travel from the worksite address to commercial and private properties throughout Macomb, St. Clair, Oakland, and Wayne counties in Michigan to perform services. Workers will be transported to daily worksite to client properties and will be transported back to the worksite at the end of the work day.

The employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law and no others without written consent from worker. The employer does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Potential elective deductions to be pre-authorized in writing if applicable are as follows: if needed, employer will assist in arranging optional worker-paid lodging for hired foreign and non-local U.S. workers. Employer will deduct for the reasonable fair market value cost of rent and utilities based on number of occupants for workers who voluntarily elect to live in employer-offered housing. Voluntary advances and/or loans made to workers, if any, may be repaid by pre-authorized payroll deductions. Employer provides first set of uniforms at no cost to workers. Additional uniforms are available for purchase by the worker. Such purchases are optional and for the worker's benefit. No daily transportation to/from workers' home and primary worksite.

The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.  From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment.
