Description We are in search of a Network Manager to work in our CASTLETON ON HUDSON, New York location. The role primarily involves the design, implementation and management of our school's network and VOIP infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This role also includes the monitoring and maintenance of network hardware and the administration of servers and systems to support our school's operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage the school's network and VOIP infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance

• Monitor and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points

• Administer servers and systems to support the school's operations, including file servers, email servers, and authentication systems

• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability

• Utilize Cisco Voice Over Internet (Voip), Aruba, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Veeam Backup skills in the execution of tasks

• Ensure the network and VOIP infrastructure meet the current and future needs of the school

• Identify and troubleshoot network and system issues in a timely manner

• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement network enhancements and improvements

• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure the school's network infrastructure is up-to-date. Requirements • Proven experience as a Network Manager for a minimum of 5 years

• Proficiency in Cisco Voice Over Internet (VoIP)

• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Aruba networks

• Proficient in Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization software

• Experience with Veeam Backup and replication software

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware

• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices

• Capable of creating accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is preferred
