Position Overview:
Demonstrates proficient and comprehensive knowledge to supports the administrative functions of a Sutter leader or administrative unit(s). Responsibilities including answering phones, greeting/referring/assisting visitors, staff, or others, preparing documents and reports, compiling records, scheduling meetings, organizing and maintaining information, coordinating calendars, reviewing budgetary expenditures, and providing general office support. May lead a project team involved in completion of complex assignments; interprets and communicates information, ideas and instructions clearly, accurately and persuasively both verbally and in writing including materials intended for distribution.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
May serve as an administrative coordinator for work unit; plan and facilitate the support activities of a department or work unit; coordinate with others to complete tasks. Respond to routine and moderately complex questions/issues concerning unit policies, processes, and procedures from internal and external contacts. Arrange meetings, coordinate special events, conferences, and other functions. Serve as resource to others on a variety of subjects including office equipment, software application usage, and information processing procedures.
Compile and organize information from different sources to develop agendas, meeting materials, and reports. Assist with planning and coordination of moderately complex projects. Serve on various committees; prepare agendas, take and compose minutes.
May prepare, process, and review forms for payroll/human resource system input. Create and maintain files, databases, and reports. Generate, prepare, and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets, and authorize processing of payments.
Monitor and maintain budget, track expenditures, process budget revisions, and assist with budget preparation and projections.
Coordinate back-up support as needed. May assist in the supervision and training of volunteers and assigned support staff.
EDUCATION:
- HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access etc)
Time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Pay Range is $39.17 to $50.91 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
