Sonic Drive-In General Manager in Cave City, Kentucky

As a SONIC Drive-In General Manager, you will lead your team in an on-going effort to give our guests a Great Service Experience! You will be in charge of training and supporting drive-in employees, ensuring that food and service is delivered in a clean, safe, and efficient manner to the most loyal fans in the industry!
Essential General Manager job duties are listed below:
●Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/ Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops
●Directs and assigns drive-in employees as needed to ensure operational standards are met
●Adheres to and monitors employee compliance of the drive-in employee handbook, policies and practices
●Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
●Prepares employee work schedules; monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to restaurant staffing levels
●Monitors and maintains inventory levels. Places orders for food, paper and other supplies as needed
●Completes and maintains all drive-in employment related records and payroll records
●Reinforces a "customer first" culture and ensures all employees are focused on "Fast, Fresh, and Friendly"
●Resolves guest requests. Reports guest complaints to immediate supervisor and resolves guest complaints
●Interview and hire restaurant crew and management team members to achieve proper staffing levels
●Develops action plans to resolve unfavorable operational or financial trends
Additional General Manager Requirements:
●High school diploma or equivalent required. Studies in business, management or related fields are helpful
●Minimum of two (6) Months of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
●Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
●Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations
●Leadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills
●The ability to work days, nights and week-ends (some holidays as well) ●Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC
