We're seeking a talented individual to join a well-known manufacturer as a Machine Maintenance Mechanic. As a key member of their maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering overtime and completion bonuses!Job Summary:In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding production machine components and related equipment. From diagnosing complex problems to performing tool room machine operations, you'll be at the forefront of keeping our operations running seamlessly.Essential Functions:Maintain and repair complex machine components and partsPerform tool room machine operation to create simple replacement partsDiagnose and resolve issues by dismantling and reassembling machines and equipmentTest machine operations following repairs to ensure functionalityAssist in set-up activities to guarantee accurate operationsRequirements:Strong math skills, including knowledge of shop/mechanical mathematics.Basic computer proficiency.Ability to solve problems effectively to prevent recurrence.Capacity to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions.Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with supervisors, co-workers, and production personnel.Experience with electrical connections, pneumatic cylinders, and PLC controllers.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and maintenance instructions.High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of related experienceAssociate’s degree in a mechanical or technical field is desirableCompletion of a four-year state certificate apprentice program and possession of a journeyman license is a strong plusAny equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.If you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity and join a dynamic team, please send your resume to mfgresume@cpsrecruiter.com.CPS Recruitment is an EOE
