Your Role
Complete the daily processing of all shipments and dispatch of freight and any other related requirements. Ensure that the service expectations of customers and the company are met.
Your Responsibilities
Process export bookings of customer orders from KN ESP
Performs sailing schedule search from carrier website to identify ideal vessel in order to ensure timely shipment
Transmits EDI and manual bookings to secures space for customer’s shipment.
Ensures booking of shipments to the nominated Carrier
Creates and provides Booking Confirmations to vendors containing necessary vessel information
Creates and provides Pick up Order to vendors containing warehouse delivery address and instruction
Ensures correct charges are billed to vendors
Ensures correct charges are entered in the cost entry
Generates Tax Invoice document on time and sends to vendor
Ensures the accuracy of SWB details
Monitors booking progress and status in ESP to ensure accurate data is provided to Customer Portal
Responsible for the on time document release in KN ESP for external customer visibility
Responsible for the on time document release in KN ESP to ensure timely process of shipment release in Customs NZ
Ensures commercial document accuracy
Confirms Sailing Schedule for shipment to integrate in Salog
Attends to internal and external customer inquiries and requests
Creates Pre-Receival Advice (PRA) from terminal website so container/s can be gated in
Manage invoicing disputes raised by Finance
Manage all communication with internal and external customers
Directly communicates with carriers for operational concerns and queries relating to bookings
Ad hoc:
-Ensures Client Code is created for new vendors.
-Update sailing schedule
Your Skills and Experiences
Professional education or degree in business or supply chain
With at least 2 years' experience in Finance / Sea Logistics
Strong Communication Skills
Must be knowledgeable with MS Outlook, Excel
