A leading company is seeking a Field Engineer to join their team. This role
involves scheduling and conducting construction site visits for active water
utility projects, performing observation and inspection services, and ensuring
compliance with standards.
What you'll be responsible for:
· Scheduling and conducting construction site visits for
active water utility projects.
· Performing observation and inspection services, ensuring
compliance with standards.
· Acting as a liaison between Engineering and Finance
Divisions.
· Submitting digital reports as per Engineering Division
requirements.
· Reviewing contractor submissions for conformance with
standards.
· Coordinating service connections with Operations Division.
· Observing water service line installations and related
construction activities.
· Scheduling and witnessing disinfection and pressure testing
procedures.
· GPS mapping of newly constructed water assets using their
equipment.
What you'll bring:
· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental
Science, or related field.
· Minimum 1 year of engineering experience.
· Utilities experience or a desire to get into wastewater.
Projects Include:
· Water main pipe installations.
· Hydrant placements and maintenance.
· Various water-related projects throughout Morris County.
What to expect:
· Fully on-site position in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey.
· Work hours: Monday to Friday, 5 days in office.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00
