Job Description
We have two current openings on the 1st shift and one current opening on the 2nd shift. The role involves maintaining the electrical infrastructure of the plant along with production equipment and machinery, utilizing your knowledge of 120V-480V systems.
Responsibilities
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
Use basic tools such as multi-meters, pipe benders, hand tools, etc.
Understand and exercise the required safety precautions necessary to complete the job.
Complete the assigned task in a timely and professional manner.
Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing plant for parking garages, with both outside and inside setups. You will work in a shop of roughly 20 people. The second shift opportunity is from approximately 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with plenty of overtime available after normal shift hours and on weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Park, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00
