We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic Customer Quality Assurance Manager to join our Mission Systems team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience working with customers and collaborating across various disciplines within Collins Aerospace. As a key player, you will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction metrics.
The ideal candidate will excel in developing strong customer relationships and managing satisfaction metrics for their assigned customers. Utilizing a network of resources across operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering, they will evaluate Mission Systems products and processes, analyze root causes of deficiencies, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions. Participation in cross-functional team efforts to enhance products and processes, thereby delivering the highest quality products to our customers, is essential.
This position demands the ability to foster relationships with customers, program/contract management, and various support groups to ensure timely responses to issues requiring corrective action or impacting customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role requires the ability to interpret customer requirements and assess Collins Aerospace's capability to meet these demands with our current Quality Management System.
What You Will Do:
Ensures Mission Systems (MiS) products and processes meet internal and regulatory standards, focusing on continuous improvement.
Develops and implements program quality plans to enhance product and process quality.
Coordinates product recall recommendations and actions, assessing their impact.
Analyzes new field event data, design changes, and Quality notices to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
Participates in group meetings, teleconferences, and required training sessions.
Actively engages in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
Analyzes and reports monthly metrics to track performance and identify areas for enhancement.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Working knowledge of Quality System, AS9100
Solid understanding of the fundamentals and tools of the discipline and role

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
