You will have the opportunity to join our dynamic Central Student Programs team onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and play a vital role in supporting our Summer, Fall, and Spring Student programming. You will be involved in various aspects of project management, event coordination, student engagements & many other initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to cross-collaborate with student program focals at other sites within our Avionics Business Unit.
What You Will Do:
Support and drive key student program initiatives related to HR projects, recruiting, the student employee experience, on-boarding, and diversity and inclusion. Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events, helping to foster a positive and inclusive company culture.
Provides project management support to help plan, coordinate and execute events within Avionics Engineering & Technology for the Student Programs. Ensure engagement and coordination with Campus Programs. Assist with employee training and development initiatives
Organize and lead student employee events in Cedar Rapids, as well as virtual events nationwide.
Assist in creating innovative programming activities for students to engage with the business, each other, and the local community.
What You Will Learn:
You will learn to work collaboratively across HR functions and Campus programs teams to create high-impact solutions in the areas of programing , inclusion, event planning and student engagement
Key project management & event coordination skills
Marketing Tactics for higher event engagement numbers
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience communicating effectively via email (Outlook)
Experience with Marketing Design tools (Canva)
Experience with data analysis and formatting tools (Excel)
Ability to package and present key messaging to Senior leaders through visual display (PowerPoint)
Capability to generate thought provoking surveys (SurveyMonkey or MS Forms)

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
