Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation Mental Health Professional in Center City, Minnesota
Responsibilities Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of co-occurring mental health needs of patients. Treatment of patients will involve assessment and therapy, including group therapy, with patients who present with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder diagnoses. Additional duties involve participation as a member of a multidisciplinary team, crisis intervention, supervision of unlicensed mental health staff, and ongoing care planning. Provide mental health assessment, ensuring proper identification of mental health and substance use concerns, as well as barriers to recovery and stability Provide individual and/or group therapy utilizing evidence-based intervention strategies and best practices Provide mental health consultation and information in order to educate patients, customers, and staff members regarding the dynamics of mental health issues in recovery. Seek and receive consultation from others in order to provide comprehensive care Facilitate crisis intervention to ensure safety and wellbeing of patients Qualifications Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field Fully licensed in the state you are practicing as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, or similar. MN: LP, LMFT, LICSW, LPCC Current CPR Card or obtain within 30 days of hire Certification must be from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association Individual National Provider Identification (NPI) number Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Twelve Step treatment approaches and stages of recovery Knowledge/training in addiction studies Willingness to be licensed in other states Spanish fluency Overview The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is the largest nonprofit addiction recovery organization in the United States.
