South Mountain Creamery, Inc. Production Associate in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania
South Mountain Creamery is a dairy farm family: we bottle our own milk and make our own butter, yogurt, and ice cream. We brought the milkman back in 2001 and have been making home deliveries to the DMV area for 20 years and counting! Over the years, we have grown to be the largest and most efficient home delivery business in the area. We are currently hiring a production team member – Plastic line milk puller.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Setting up tape/box machine
Making sure the printer is set up for the correct product being placed in boxes
Communication between labeler operator & machine operator
Maintain a clean workspace
Correct product in box
Make sure caps are completely snapped
Make sure dates are legible on all bottles
Restock boxes for next day production run
Assist labeler operator with change overs
Assist machine operator with cap change overs
Assist machine operator with end of day tear down & reassembly of machine
Help where needed throughout the plant
Willing to learn our CIP (clean in place) system
The shift for this position is Monday – Friday, with a start time of 7:00 am
Requirements:
Positive attitude, communication, flexibility day-to-day, and is passionate about making sure the correct products are correctly boxed and labeled perfect – every time.
