Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

Seeking mid-level apprentices or journeyman electrical technicians to support instrumentation and controls (I&C) electrical work. Responsibilities include performing wire management, bending and running conduit, installing control panels and cable trays, pulling wire, and other electrical tasks as assigned based on individual expertise in motor controls, lighting, terminations, and other electrical applications.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chandler, Arizona.

Work Environment

Work location is at the Intel Ocotillo site, Chandler, AZ. The position involves working 60 hours per week from Monday to Saturday, 5:30am-4pm. Tasks will be part of the tool install scope for the Eagle Project Fab52, requiring comfort in clean rooms and wearing protective gear as needed. Due to the large size of the Intel campus, there will be significant walking, and transportation from a designated parking lot to the job site via shuttle is necessary. The work environment is currently not enclosed, which may lead to higher temperatures, but efforts to enclose the building are underway.
