Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Description
Perform electrical work and assist electricians by performing various tasks and material handling under the direct supervision of an assigned electrician. You will prepare and assemble conduits, connect wiring through them, execute plans of electrical installations, and install safety and distribution components such as switches and circuit-breaker panels. Additionally, you will connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks.

Essential Skills
Proven experience as an electrician, specifically in commercial electrical systems.
Manual dexterity and demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter).
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must have own basic electrical hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman requirement with at least 4 years of electrical experience.
Experience with electrical, conduit, troubleshooting, construction, blueprint reading, conduit bending, industrial installations.

Work Environment
You will work on various projects, including hospital work, water and sewer, and local government projects (33% of jobs are Scale wage). The work is spread across Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. Typical working hours are 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, expecting 40 hours per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chantilly, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00
