Red River Network Monitoring Engineer (Logic Monitor) in Chantilly, Virginia

Primary Position Tasks:

  • Accepts escalations and monitors incoming incident and escalations queue as needed for new assignments related to position’s subject matter expertise areas.

  • Is assigned or self-assigns new incidents and escalations as appropriate and escalates issues and risks to team members or leadership as appropriate.

  • Completes incident and escalation resolutions within SLA and policy expectations.

  • Develops and maintains documentation in our knowledge repository.

  • Continuously builds and maintains technical knowledge and advanced level subject matter expertise in supported tools and technologies.

  • Independently manages or leads Tools and Innovation initiatives related to tool development or management, service creation, or software and process optimization.

  • Mentors other team members.

  • Other business duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • Degree from a college/university or equivalent years of work experience. If applicable.

  • Experience with Logic Monitor

  • 5 or more years in a software and/or networking support role.

  • US Citizenship

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Experience in an MSP environment.

  • Experience with Secret Server, Kaseya VSA and others similar tools.

  • Compliance frameworks such as CMMC

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strict attention to detail and accuracy

  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and accountability

  • Proficient in several Tools & Innovation supported technologies

  • Independently collaborates and communicates effectively – sets an example for the rest of the team

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
