Job Description:

HOW BEING A SCRUM MASTER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Mentors the Scrum team to be self-organization

  • Leads the team to making their own conclusions and decisions.- Does not make decisions on behalf of the team.- Shields the team from outside interference.- Helps all parties understand their role in Scrum and how to work together effectively.- Knows what makes a good story so the team can work support the requirement.- Can help guide Product Owner on vision for what they want to accomplish.- Removes impediments for the Scrum team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

  • Experience: 10+ years

  • Technical skills:

  • Facilitating TEMs, spring planning sessions, retrospectives, backlog refinement and daily scrums. Work with Product Owner to drive the direction of the project.

  • Decompose system requirements of existing application and be able to translate them to technical requirements for new system. Identify and document business rules and logic. Evaluate existing processes and systems and look for areas of improvements, both from a business process and technology standpoint.

  • Gather user requirements and be able to analyze the implication it has on the system and it's user base. Be able to translate new business requirements into technical requirements, and assist in designing technical solutions.

  • Lead focus session groups to capture user feedback, understand customer needs and collect requirements. Work with UI team to design new system wireframes.

  • Manage a team of four

  • Can help guide Product Owner on vision for what they want to accomplish

  • Perform Agile Ceremonies

  • Provide customer support to the existing application.

  • Security Clearance Level : Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

  • Location : Chantilly, VA customer site

The likely salary range for this position is $148,750 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
