Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking candidates for the position of Strategic and Organizational Planning Analyst. Successful candidates in this position will provide acquisition administrative support to the Corporate Acquisitions Governance Program at a USG agency in Northern Virginia.
This position is located in Chantilly, VA.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Serve as the Corporate Acquisition Strategy Board (CASB) and Acquisition Governance Board (AGB) Secretariat which includes overseeing the overall process of the AGB (scheduling, coordinating, attending, recording recommendations/caveats of all dockets and communicating with the contracts teams and COTRs).
• Work closely and collaboratively with the Acquisition Strategy Officer (ASO) to provide consultations to guide teams through the AGB process and set clear expectations for moving forward.
• Review CASB and AGB docket submissions to ensure they are full and complete packages in compliance with CASB and AGB policies and regulations.
• Work with program offices and contracting teams to resolve caveats in a timely manner.
• Advise and assist the CASB and AGB to create repeatable guidance for teams to follow.
• Monitor and administer CASB and AGB schedules for formal briefings to the boards and mock CASB's and AGB's with teams to better prepare them for the board.
o The CASB will meet approximately once a month. On average, 4 - 5 individual dockets will be briefed.
o The AGB will meet approximately twice per month. On average, 4 - 5 individual dockets will be briefed.
o Additional surge briefings may occasionally be held for either board.
• Provide reports to the board members and front office as needed on upcoming briefings and the status of various acquisitions.
• Collect constructive feedback from the workforce on the CASB and AGB and advise leadership on developing and implementing potential solutions and improvements.
• Collaborate with and support the Acquisition Innovation Center (Ale) as needed.
• Update information in IT systems to track acquisitions and associated documentation.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• An Industrial Security Staff Approval/Top Secret (ISSA/TS) clearance with polygraph.
• Significant experience supporting the USG agency, performing work specific to acquisition administration.
• Demonstrated familiarity with the USG agency's systems.
• Demonstrated ability in assessing requests for information, tactical needs, and strategic objectives, performing analysis of existing policies, making recommendations to peers, management and leadership on implications, actions and additional considerations.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
