Noblis Systems Integration Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia

Responsibilities

The FADE Program Management Office is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to serve as a member of the SETA team. The Systems Integration Engineer will support the Program Manager in multiple facets which include: technical analysis, backlog grooming, customer requirements management, technical contributions and recommendations on the future of the program. They will contribute to all aspects of the system development life cycle. The Systems Integration Engineer will assist in requirements management by translating operations and mission tasks into tangible, technical requirements for an analytical framework leveraged by tens of thousands of users across the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) and Combatant Commands. Other responsibilities include administrative, technical support and analysis to the government leadership team, internal, cross-tower, and external coordination as well as IC and DoD customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess a TS/SCI security clearance with a CI Poly

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience; Or, High School equivalent and 14+ years of experience.

  • Minimum of five years of experience working in the IC and/or DoD

  • Three or more years of professional experience in systems integration engineering

  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and installing software and supporting software products

  • Experience in writing, reviewing and editing of technical reports, test reports architectural diagrams, etc.

  • Basic interpersonal skills and the ability to summarize and brief senior government civilians and military officers

  • Ability to build and present technical briefings and reports with specific knowledge of various system architecture frameworks

  • Ability to work independent with minimal guidance and perform other duties as assigned

  • Participate in meetings and review processes discussions to ensure programs are meeting needs of Senior Leadership and the user community

  • Minimal travel requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

  • Basic Understanding of Intelligence Community and Department of Defense

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies

  • Experience working with AWS or other cloud-based services

  • Experience in DevSecOps

  • Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and developing MBSE documents

  • Understanding of service architectures

  • Understanding of DoD system security frameworks

  • Understanding of various data architectures

  • Basic understanding of data ontologies

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

USD $125,500.00 - USD $219,600.00 /Yr.
