Job Overview

Responsible for raw materials and materials in-process needed for various manufacturing

areas, batches exact quantities, fills out batch cards and sheets, and trucks to manufacturing

areas.

Responsibilities

  • Trucks finished chemical products, in-process materials, and supply 1tems from manufacturing

    areas and the warehouse and place them in correct locations, according to FDA and cGMP

    regulations.

  • Transports hazardous wastes from manufacturing areas to correct storage areas and stacks

    according to EPA regulations, checking for proper labels, seals, and contents.

  • Transports and handles flammable materials within manufacturing areas.

  • Trucks supply items, i.e. centrifuge papers, filter paper,PE bags, etc. from warehouse to

    manufacturing areas.

  • Assists with general trucking of material within chemical plant.

  • Records in-process and finished material transfers from Chemical Production on log sheets

    ( weights,serial or lot numbers, numbers of drums, packages or bags, and where each material

    is located in the warehouse). Validates actual transfer of in-process and finished lots with

    correct labels,batch yield and transfer weights.

  • Responsible for proper order and housekeeping of warehouse storage areas following strict

    FDA and cGMP regulations for raw materials, finished goods, empty drums, and supplies.

  • Responsible for monitoring refrigerated trailer,ensuring and recording proper temperature and

    storage practices.

  • Responsible for safe and proper handling of controlled substances, including record keeping,

    storage, and manufacturing.

  • Responsible for vault access, including in/out access for self and others, recordkeeping, status

    tagging, inventory and weighing and sampling of materials.

  • Assist shipping and receiving with material movement and status tagging, as needed.

  • Assist QA Auditor with status tagging, finished goods inspection, sampling and material movement.

  • Responsible for transport and delivery of internal mail between Chemical Production office and

    mail room.

  • Responsible for delivery and pick up of samples for laboratory and manufacturing areas

  • Conducts inventory checks as directed.

  • Maintain buffer inventory to meet Chemical Production needs .

Qualifications/Skills

Good communication skills, both oral and written

Strong mechanical aptitude/knowledge

Shift assignment may vary . Must be able to work nights and/or every other weekend as per shift assignment

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements

HS diploma required

Some manufacturing experience preferred
