Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Sandblaster for projects located in the Charles City, VA area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level.If you are a Sandblaster and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
Coat, sand blast and water jetting
Measure the work area to calculate the time and materials required to complete the project
Prepare the surrounding area including covering fixtures and furniture to prevent messes
Prepare painting surfaces including removing old paint, filling holes & cracks and washing walls
Choose the tools to complete the job
Mix & match paints/colors to meet the texture and look required for the project
Apply paint varnishing and other finishes
Hang wallpapers and other decorative products
Clean up painting tools and supplies
Replace fixtures and rearranging furniture after completing the project
Identify machined surfaces
Maintain blast equipment
Sandblast parts
Follow visual standards
Blow down blasted parts
Requirements
Must have driver's license and reliable transportation
Pass drug screen, and background check
Pass respirator
Understand, and blast to industry standards
