West Virginia Employer Receptionist / Office Assistant in Charles Town, West Virginia

Law Office in Charles Town, WV is seeking an individual to perform the following functions: Answer phones, direct calls as necessary, handle general inquiries, retrieve voicemails Schedule office appointments and maintain calendars Verify coverage for clients who are using Legal Service Plans Take client payments in person or over the phone, maintain fee agreement and payment information in law office database Maintain and mail monthly billing statements Enter time and expense information into Federal and State electronic voucher systems Maintain office equipment (copier, postage meter, etc... ) Order office supplies when necessary Download e-filed documents and place them in appropriate directory Assist with the preparation of letters and legal documents Daily runs to the Post Office and/or Courthouse(s) Candidate must have the following minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Intermediate computer skills including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Familiarity with general file system structures General knowledge of office equipment Superior organizational skills Ability to follow oral instructions and written procedures
