Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nuclear Medicine Assistant is a member of the Imaging Services Team who works under the direct supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

What you will do in this role:

  • Assist in the workflow of the department to include transporting patients, preparation and set up of appropriate equipment and supplies for each Nuclear Medicine examination.

  • Place patients on EKG/Cardiac monitor.

  • Follow the policies and procedures of the department as well as all regulatory compliance for DHEC, TJC, ACR and any regulatory agency governing radiation safety.​

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

  • 1+ year of experience in the healthcare setting preferred.

  • Prior EKG/Cardiac Telemetry experience preferred.
