Emerson Senior Manager Leadership Development in Charleston, West Virginia

This is a remote opportunity. In this role you contribute with your unique set of skills, creativity and individual perspective to Emerson’s Learning and Leadership Development mission: nurturing a learning ecosystem where employees and managers intentionally seek and shape learning experiences that fuel innovation and value creation.

As Senior Manager, Leadership Development you will ensure end-to-end program management focusing on Leadership and Executive Development Programs, from need analysis, learning solution design, content development, Implementation, and continuous evolution. In this role, you will also lead Learning Operations for the central distributed team of coordinators, serving across Learning and Leadership initiatives. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • You will lead the Rising Leaders program globally, working with the Global Rising Leaders Committee to evolve the program design and content continuously and consistently, and with the Program Faculty and Staff to ensure delivery of impactful learning experiences. You will support delivery and facilitation of Rising Leaders sessions, as part of the program Faculty

  • You will contribute to the design and delivery of impactful learning and development experiences for Executive Leaders

  • You will lead and continuously evolve our Vendor Management offering.

  • You will support other learning activities and contribute to ensure collaboration and connection within the global Learning and Leadership Development Community of Practice.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, or related field.

  • Applicable years of relevant work experience commensurate with the level of this position.

  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organization.

  • Vendor management experience

  • Able to travel up to 20% to meet business needs.

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Our training programs and initiatives focus on end-to-end development, from onboarding through senior leadership. We provide a wide range of development opportunities, including face-to-face and virtual training, mentorship and coaching, project management, and on-the-job training.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to this role.
