Actalent Civil Engineering Project Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of a facilities, materials, environmental, or geotechnical engineering project to ensure that it is safely completed on time and within scope and budget
resource management, project scheduling, budgets and forecasts, and working with external vendors, subcontractors or contractors
Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones
involved with approving invoices, preparing change orders, and collections
Leads interactions with client and stakeholders to ensure their goals are being considered in execution of the work
Design, communicate, and implement a project plan for completing a project
Prepares forecasts for expenditures and manages scope, schedule to meet budge t
Skills:
Project management, Engineering, Construction, Engineering management, budgeting, scheduling, close outs, planning
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
6-10+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline Preferred
Project Management Professional Certification preferred
Proven track record of building and managing high performance teams, proficient in leadership skills such as: conflict management, complex negotiations, influencing, mentoring, coaching and counselling, creating a strong and sustainable team, attention to details, motivating and inspiring employees, self-initiatives, and a demonstrated leadership potential.
