Description
Robert Half is actively seeking a versatile Business to Business (B2B) Collections Specialist who is motivated, detail-oriented, and has a strong background in Oracle and intermodal company experience. Ideal applicants should be attuned to the nuances of professional, B2B negotiation and collections, and be comfortable performing in an environment where deadlines are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform the collection of accounts receivable for assigned Business to Business (B2B) accounts.
Analyze client accounts and negotiate payment plans as required.
Review customer accounts within Oracle to track payment history and credit worthiness.
Liaise and communicate with various departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports on collection activities and outstanding debts.
Regularly meet or exceed collection targets as set by management.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar B2B collections role.
Proven experience with Oracle financial software.
Experience within intermodal companies is highly desired.
Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
Professional certification in credit and collections is advantageous.
