Description
We are seeking an organized, highly detail-oriented bookkeeper with commercial real estate experience to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the daily accounting and financial management processes, providing proficient financial support and insights for decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage all daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, expense reports, and payroll.
Maintain financial records for commercial properties, including purchases, sales, depreciation, and amortization.
Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
Oversee and manage tenant ledgers and rent collections.
Assist with budget preparation for property operations and capital improvements.
Liaise with external auditors, manage internal controls and handle tax matters.
Review and process property management invoices for payment and ensure accurate ledger entries.
Qualifications:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally in the commercial real estate sector.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements • Proficiency in Yardi Property Management software
• Familiarity with Yardi software
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Strong bookkeeping skills
• Ability to perform full charge bookkeeping functions
• Previous experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
• Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in commercial property management
