About this Role

This position is for a seasoned professional contributor in Industrial Engineering, who may manage small projects or processes to ensure overall project development coordination for the most efficient utilization of equipment and material resources Communicates with parties within and outside Industrial Engineering regarding cost control initiatives and process and systems improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to optimize warehouse processes and enhance efficiency. Responsibilities include conducting time studies, designing layouts, and implementing lean methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve productivity. Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions for inventory management and logistics. Ensure compliance with safety standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Purpose:

  • Process Optimization: Analyzing workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

  • System Knowledge: SAP subject matter expert in the area of Warehouse Operations.

  • Layout Design: Designing and optimizing warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization, efficiency of movement, and accessibility of inventory.

  • Inventory Management: Developing strategies and systems for effective inventory control, including replenishment processes, stock rotation, and storage optimization.

  • Quality Assurance: Implementing quality control measures to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and shipping processes, aiming to minimize errors and improve customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (Preferred)

  • Practical knowledge of programs or systems (i.e., SAP, Microsoft Excel, Office) with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
