Wells Fargo Lead Treasury Analyst- Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Treasury Analyst in the Enterprise Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) Group to oversee and be responsible for liquidity risk reporting, data quality, data profiling, and data enhancement projects. The ideal candidate has a strong risk mindset, intellectual curiosity, strong technical skills, relevant liquidity knowledge, and enjoys working with data. We are looking for a highly motivated person who learns quickly and enjoys taking on challenges. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and communicate effectively is crucial.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead automating processes for efficient data profiling and quality assurance.

  • Work with technology to build new tools and enhance existing processes.

  • Document requirements to enhance data rules and complete testing of implementation.

  • Identify control deficiencies and propose and implement remediations.

  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and outside parties including regulatory agencies, accounting, and consulting firms.

  • Delegate work to and help develop junior team members.

  • Develop recommendations to LRM senior management.

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in finance, accounting, or economics

  • Experience using analytical tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and/or Power BI.

  • Ability to write basic code to extract and manipulate data (e.g., ANSI SQL, Python) .

  • Experience working at a large financial institution.

  • Financial analysis or accounting experience

  • Knowledge of systems of record, and data warehouses.

  • Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods.

  • A leader who thrives on initiating, building and cultivating strong relationships; highly collaborative; possesses strong influence skills

  • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
