The Role: Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team. The Logistics Specialist will support the North America Logistics Operations organization. This role involves various responsibilities related to material flow, product and service oversight, process implementation, system enhancement, and supply chain support. Specific duties include inventory control, coordinating critical parts, managing import-export regulations, assessing volume capacity, and integrating with third parties. The Logistics Specialist acts as a liaison between sales and operations teams, contributing to concept development, product knowledge coordination, data analysis, and process improvement efforts. Additionally, they evaluate internal metrics to enhance customer satisfaction and uphold service commitments at our distribution center. What You ll Do: * The day-to-day supervision of our third-party distribution center in Minnesota. The specialist within time is required to cross-train and support other distribution centers under the Entegris business in North America. * Maintains warehouse map to ensure overview of counting activity and alignment to SOX requirements. * The third-party distribution center maintains key finished goods for the Advanced Material Handling division. The specialist will be required to monitor the min/max level of key inventory items against warehouse capacity. * Monthly/Quarterly/Year End reporting support for inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and working closely with plant controlling, finance and 3PL partners to report accuracy within the given guidelines and schedules. * Researches, analyzes, and review KPI metrics, E&O, DOH and provides recommendations to support distribution goals. * Required to utilize SAP for warehouse management and business reporting. (includes Excess Stock Analysis Review, GIR & GID Processing) * Administer and implement SOP/EUP/Work Instructions into the ETQ database and ensure the distribution center abides by those instructions. * Investigates delays and exceptions with internal and external cross functional teams to ensure escalations are addressed in a timely manner, and the supply chain has accurate, reliable, and real time visibility to our inbound shipments. * The point of contact between Entegris and the Third-Party warehouse, ensuring that all responsibilities at the distribution center adhere to our expectations. * Responsible for training the 3rd party provider on newly assigned work instructions and end-user procedures that are related to the 3PL distribution center in MN. * Manage material extensions and in-transit material to the warehouse for the MN operations. * Daily monitoring of inbound raw materials from external suppliers and intercompany plants. * The specialist will be tasked with submitting data to our database for temperature logs, end of quarter checklist and financial reporting. * Handle all internal & external Quality Notifications regarding shipment deviations, damage, and errors. * Evaluates customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. What We Seek: * Goal-oriented style of working to ensure that the department targets and corporate metrics goals are achieved. * Strong written and oral communication between internal and external parties. * Ability to provide systematic solutions and critical thinking initiat ves to the distribution model. * May require travelling to the distribution center for operational overview. * Enforcement of and adherence to the Entegris policies and procedures. * Lead cost savings plans with third party partners & internal stakeholders. Outstanding Candidates Will Have: * Minimum education is high school diploma or GED equivalency. * Bachelor s degree (Related studies: Business; Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, and Warehousing), preferred but not required. * Basic knowledge of finished goods distribution and terminology. * Excellent communication skills to lead internal and external partner discussions. * Proficient PC and Microsoft 365 skills * Experience with SAP Operating System of 3 years + experience preferred. * Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, and Warehousing of 3 years + experience preferred.
