Bosio Biscuit Co. is seeking a diligent and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of our kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with cooking tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare ingredients for baking according to recipes and production schedules.
2. Measure and mix ingredients accurately, ensuring consistency and quality.
3. Assist in the preparation of doughs, batters, and fillings for various biscuit recipes.
4. Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, dough rollers, and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
5. Portion and shape doughs into desired forms, following established techniques.
6. Assist with baking and cooking tasks as needed, including monitoring oven temperatures and baking times.
7. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
8. Store ingredients and prepared foods properly, adhering to food safety guidelines.
9. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely production.
10. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a prep cook or similar role in a commercial kitchen environment.
2. Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food safety standards.
3. Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
