Town of Chatham Council in Aging Department Coordinator in Chatham, Massachusetts

The Town of Chatham is seeking an organized, collaborative, and innovative administrative superstar to become the next Council on Aging (COA) Department Coordinator. Under general direction of the Director of Community Services, the Council on Aging Department Coordinator works to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity, creating, streamlining and maintaining clerical and administrative processes and coordinates the activities of and trains clerical staff, supervising as directed. The Department Coordinator is responsible for transportation dispatch, payroll, accounts payable, records maintenance, equipment maintenance and special projects and serves as the direct assistant to the Director of Community Services. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel programs and relevant computer programs, databases and online resources. Basic knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing. Knowledge of Public Records and Open Meeting laws.
