Senior Renewals Specialist

Job Description:

Arrow ECS Australia is looking to place a Senior Renewals Specialist in its Sydney office to assist in managing its client base for the business's products and services focused on the renewals business.

These skills will be aimed at existing customers and towards new customers within the assigned criteria, through predominantly email and telephone with some direct, face to face contact.

Key focuses for this hands-on role are:

  • Drive opportunities for new and existing customers

  • Accuracy in dealing with customer data and systems

  • Deliver excellent customer service for customers and vendor partners

  • Maintain expert Arrow system knowledge

  • Contribute to refining transactional workflows and services available to customers

  • Construct quotes

  • Renewals validation process; maintain reminders on upcoming renewals

  • Handle and manage high volume of emails

  • Deal with high volume of calls

  • Develop and build strong relationship with vendors

  • Forecast & make strategy calls

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare and revise quotations for support renewals

  • Internally support resellers in every aspect of the sales transaction from initial needs consultation through to order tracking and delivery

  • Analyse customer requirements and promote consideration of the business' products and services to fill requirements

  • Interact with vendors through quote requests, finding solutions for customers and providing updates on forecast

  • Validate purchase orders and contact partners to clarify any discrepancies

  • Develop adequate product knowledge to assist resellers in offering all solutions distributed by Arrow ECS

  • Drive account engagement and manage client expectations with regard to all support requirements

  • Successfully create and execute selling strategies that will result in new sales for our vendors

  • Establish transaction level relationships within customer organisations, focusing on fulfillment and sales staff

  • Provide and meet all reporting and information obligations as directed by management

  • Develop and maintain strong links with vendors, competitors, and other industry entities to ensure you are up to date with trends, issues and developments

What We Are Looking For

  • 2-4 years in similar role

  • Effective organisational, prioritisation and time management skills with an eye for detail

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to support customer interactions

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel)

  • High adaptability and commercial acumen

  • Strong decision making and sense of ownership

  • Works well under pressure

  • Critical thinker, able to troubleshoot and think outside the box

  • Ethical conduct and is a team player
