Description
We are seeking a Structural Packaging Engineer for our client. This person should be well versed with packaging and print specifics. This Structural Packaging Designer must be creative as well to concept and collaborate with the creative team on what will work and what will be innovative. This is a contract to hire opportunity, and onsite in the valley 5 days a week.
Required Functional Skills/Tools:
Package engineering experience (CD calls them ‘Paper Folders’)
Doesn’t have to come from toys, but toys is ideal.
Must be able to concept for package structure, or take a rough concept and flesh it out
Collaborate with the CD on package concepts.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Package Designer within the Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment industry
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CAD Software, Figma, and InVision is required
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and About Time software
• Proven experience in AB Testing and enhancing Brand Awareness
• Strong Customer Service skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability in Design and Design packages
• Ability to create Structural Drawings
• Possession of a Creative Mind to innovate and improve package designs
