Responsibilities & Duties
The Assistant Restaurant Leader provides support to the Restaurant Leader on all aspects of operations. The ARL will lead all operations in the absence of the Restaurant Leader. Additionally, the ARL will be responsible for leading day to day operations and administration, providing coaching to department and shift leaders, and monitoring key performance indicators and creating in the moment action plans to ensure positive results. The ARL should be a change and servant leader and serve as a business partner under the Restaurant Leader.
Additionally, some requirements include:

- Must have 3-5 years’ experience in an Assistant Manager or equivalent manager role being in a hospitality, retail, or restaurant environment with similar or higher volume.

- Have A Can-Do attitude and be committed to the overall success of the business.

Must be able to understand, analyze, and act on a Profit and Loss (PnL) Statement.
Must be able to execute labor controls, and coach their leadership team on labor controls.
Must be able to create action plans, delegate task amongst leadership team, and follow up to ensure completion of task.
Must be able to maintain an environment conducive to a fun, productive, and compliant workplace that focuses on our People!
Must be able to effectively communicate and track goals.
Responsible for being able to Manage by Walking Around (MBWA) in a manner that encourages the use of systems, standards, and routines, as established by McDonald’s and The Good Food Group.
Responsible for ensuring compliant performance management process is followed.
Responsible for leading employee-centric training programs within the restaurant.
Must be able to lead a culture of hospitality to ensure that our restaurants are leaders in guest service.
Responsible for talent acquisition for restaurant-level roles.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be on call as business needs dictate.
Preferred Qualifications
5 plus years’ experience in an Assistant General Manager or equivalent role within retail, hospitality, or a restaurant business.
Desire to continue to advance in restaurant leadership.
