Manage and drive medium to large scale IT projects or programs working in collaboration with the Product Management team, the Agile Software Development team following Scrum and Project management processes
Estimate project costs, develop schedules, plan releases, track impediments, remove barriers and facilitate close cooperation across all roles.
Work with development teams and follow the Scrum Framework for software development.
Ensure that the project scope entails the required details and deliverables, etc.
Plan and track project portfolio, including problem identification and resolution and change management issues throughout projects.
Use Agile project management tools like Atlassian Suite of Agile Applications (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket) for tracking tasks, creating reports and managing releases
Work with executive leaders to ensure work is prioritized appropriately and provide value to the business by operationalizing strategic and tactical programs and projects.
Conduct and facilitate project kick-off meetings with all stakeholders.
Conduct and facilitate requirements gathering workshops with customer teams, businesses and technical product line owners / SMEs and scrum masters to define user stories, acceptance criteria, project constraints and quality criteria.
Work with technical product owners and scrum teams to estimate the user stories and prepare project timeline and budget documents.
Use data from the release plans, product backlog, sprint backlogs and from the sprint meetings to develop and track individual project and work plans that entail all details of the project including timelines, tasks, resources, etc.
Facilitate the removal of team roadblocks / impediments by acting as a liaison between the customer team and the scrum teams.
Monitor the sprint backlog and burndown charts and continuously collaborate with the teams to monitor progress.
Involve the customer team as soon as a story is done for acceptance and monitor project release burn-up.Shield program from unnecessary external interference.
Ensure deliverables are met and process improvement opportunities are implemented at enterprise level.
Ensure visibility and transparency and that processes are followed and continually improved
1 to 2 years’ experience leading projects involving the application of technology to solve business needs.
Experience in Agile product development lifecycle
Proven experience in successfully leading Technology and Product project teams with multifaceted, competing priorities and deadlines, including virtual work teams with members in different geographic regions
Skilled in the design and deployment of technology solutions in support of internal/external customers in collaboration with vendors
Strong interpersonal and client management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, integrative and problem solving skills
Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance driven environment
Sense of accountability, owning one’s work and taking pride in it; commitment to quality and continuous improvement

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, management information systems, benefits administration or related field; Master’s degree a plus
Proficient in MS Office (including Excel), MS Teams, and Atlassian products like JIRA/Confluence desired
