Description
Our respected manufacturing client is looking for an organized and dedicated Entry-Level Staff Accountant!
The Staff Accountant is an entry-level role entrusted with the task of maintaining the accuracy of numerous financial records. This organized individual will keep track of the company's financial records by examining balance sheets and general ledger accounts. Additionally, they will be responsible for generating reports.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Process accounts payable and receivable.
Conduct account reconciliations.
Develop spreadsheet reports and verify information for the analysis of options and information.
Accrue expenses, assign account numbers, request disbursements, and reconcile accounts to prepare payments.
Prepare documentation required by external auditors.
Keep up to date with trends, developments, and best practices in accounting. Use this knowledge to recommend and implement changes in processes and policies.
Carry out other duties related to accounting as mandated.
Maintain confidentiality to protect the organization's value.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
0-3 years of experience (entry-level)
Strong Excel skills
NetSuite proficiency is a major advantage as it is likely to be implemented within 6 months.
