Area Sales Manager

As an Area Sales Manager-MSD at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be instrumental in driving our sales initiatives in Chennai. With your demonstrated success in sales and your strong drive for achievement, you will be accountable for effectively executing our sales strategies and expanding our customer network in the area. Your outstanding communication and people skills will empower you to establish solid connections with our clients and provide exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales objectives

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned area

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Provide timely feedback to the management on market trends and competitor activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's / Masters degree in a Physics/ Nanotechnology/ Engineering / Life Sciences

  • Experiecnes in sales fo Electron Microscopy Products., XPS products is desireable

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the scientific industry

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
