Job Summary

Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Help us deliver an ambitious data science as a s service product.

• Manage Kubernetes clusters and DevOps pipelines for the whole network planning team.

• Write new python applications to meet various analytics and business requirements.

• Use variety of Google cloud platform’s (GCP) managed and self-managed services to meet applications need (like GKE, cloud functions, BigQuery etc)

• Collaborate with software engineers, network data scientists and network operations.

• Promote best development practices in the software engineering life cycle.

• Your skills and experiences

• Over 5 years of professional experience as a Python backend developer.

• Strong expertise with public cloud platforms (GCP experience is a plus).

• More than 2 years of experience in designing data-driven applications.

• Over 3 years of experience in building RESTful APIs and web frameworks using Python (preferably Flask).

• Extensive experience in developing Kubernetes-native applications.

• Skilled in building reusable code and libraries.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to provide accurate time estimates for tasks.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

• Desirables

• Experience of managing Kubernetes cluster

• Experience with Terraform

• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and application and infrastructure observability.

• Experience of developing and delivering data centric applications.

• Good understanding of SQL.

• Experience with delivering infrastructure for heavy workload (e.g. Machine learning)
