Description: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company F-35 program seeks an experienced and motivated candidate to join the F-35 Supportable Low Observable (SLO) Team.

What You Will Be Doing

This position will be located in Cherry Point, NC at the F-35 Depot. The candidate will be required to prioritize multiple projects and initiatives in a complex environment to ensure program activities are well coordinated and executed. An ability to explain complex technical concepts in a readily comprehensible manner is necessary. The candidate will be required to exhibit effective and clear communications skills at all levels. The candidate will be required to understand the military service joint operations and structure.

Who You Are

You are a multi-faceted teammate able to communicate and function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative and inclusive environment that allows for the establishment of mission goals. You have experience with itemized planning and prioritization of tasks that drives the efficient execution of objectives. Timely communication of project status and emerging issues to peers and management is critical. Must be willing to obtain Comp TIA Security + Classified System administration Certification within one year of hire date. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position requires special access and requires Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Supportable Low Observable (SLO) concepts and operations.

• 5 years of military fighter aircraft maintenance experience.

• Experience reading engineering drawings, blueprints, interpret/translate instructions to specific maintenance mechanics/technicians.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of VAS, PDM, Computer Aided Design (CAD), CATIA V5, Matlab, Compuquest, relational data bases, QADS, CRM, Excel

• Comp TIA Security + Classified System administration Certification.

• Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility

• Aircraft structures experience highly desired

• Project or program management, and execution of signature technology

• Experience with proposal development and new business pursuits

• Experience in radar cross section (RCS) design, Low Observable (LO) materials and processes, LOHAS, LO verification

• Knowledge of the F-35 airframe design, coating materials, methods and execution of signature technology

• Experience collaborating across multi-disciplined engineering and sustainment teams

• Excellent information organization skills

• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
