Insight Global Mechanical Design Engineer in Chesapeake, Virginia
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Chesapeake, Virginia. The candidate will be actively involved in the design process from conceptualization to sending final designs to production for manufacturing. This role requires the person to be on-site Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm, and you can expect to travel around 25% of the time locally in Virginia, across the USA, and internationally.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's or associate degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
Hands on experience creating 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings.
2-5+ years of professional experience as a mechanical engineer.
Comfortable traveling 25% and able to travel internationally.
Experience with inspection tools: tape measure, laser distance, 3D scanners, calipers, etc. - 3D scanning objects
