Job Title: Shipping Coordinator

Job Description

  • As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipping routes and deliveries.

  • You will respond to email requests from carriers and customers, confirming pickup dates and times for products. It is essential to provide timely responses to inquiries, maintain and update shipping calendars daily, and ensure all shipping orders are accurate before operations.

  • Your role will also involve greeting drivers, maintaining accurate files of shipped documents and driver logs, and reporting missed carrier appointments. Additionally, you will communicate any delays or rescheduling of pickups to the warehouse manager or lead.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

  • Ability to organize, clean, and catalog items in stockroom

  • Prepare regular shipping and receiving reports

  • Schedule large shipments and plan logistics

  • Ability to handle shipping issues and customer complaints effectively

  • Strong communication skills

  • Detail-oriented

  • Time management skills

Shift & Schedule

  • 2nd shift, 12:00pm-8:00pm

  • Monday - Friday

Work Environment

  • Climate-controlled warehouse and distribution environment.
