Insight Global Warehouse Property Manager in Chesapeake, Virginia

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Warehouse Property Manager to join our federal AIT team in Chesapeake Virginia! This person will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities of personnel engaged in receiving materials, equipment, and supplies. Managing the material receipt process and complies with all public law requirements as well as corporate policies and procedures, import/export regulations, and employs sound business practices. The warehouse property manager will follow FAR/DFARS guidelines to process material receipt and Government Property. They will also record the quality, quantity, type, style, and any other characteristics of the material received and negotiate and/or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors. Finally, the warehouse property manager will review receipt, QC Inspection, and Issue documentation for completeness and correctness and apply understanding of the property process, responsibilities and ethical standards necessary for US Government, commercial and international material and services procurements.
