Technology Partners, Inc. seeks a Sr Software Engineer in Chesterfield, MO.

Duties: Develop solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle. Apply Agile principles and cross practices such as story grooming, refactoring and continuous improvement via retrospectives. Participate in pair-programming. Collaborate with leads from other disciplines (firmware, microbiology, biomathematics) to define and manage interfaces between the software and those groups. Implement TDD (Test-driven development) framework with software testers for sustainable delivery of better software and ensure that the system supports both automated and manual test needs. Coordinate and support product validation team during the product rollout phase. Work with a system architect to define components responsibilities, plan components evolution, and ensure components will meet system needs. Work with business analysts/micro-biologist to understand the product domain and balance functional requirements with technical complexity. Mentor junior developers during agile sprints on their respective JIRA stories to meet the sprint goals. Use Kanban project management methodologies to complete project tasks in smallincrements and emphasize continuous improvement. Interact with on field specialist and product validation team during on field implementation issues and provide ad-hoc resolution during product upgrade activities. Analyze periodic dynamic OWASP and static SONAR code scans to diagnose new security vulnerabilities and provide necessary code fixes and/or upgrade required vulnerable 3rd party libraries. Develop prototypes and POCs to demonstrate new ideas or illustrate the use of new technologies and how to apply it into eco systems.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or its equivalent) plus 8 years of experience. Requires: 8 years of experience in (Server-Side programming): Java/J2EE 6 years of experience in Object Relational Mapping tools and data persistence framework 6 years of expertise with PL/SQL in developing and maintaining critical business functions. 5 years of experience with Frontend Technologies/ Data stewardship UIs): Data steward UI focuses on the data that a given organization or organizational function uses 4 years of experience in Agile/Scrum Any amount of experience in (Microservices): designing and developing cross platform web-based solutions and implementing new Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

Telecommuting permitted. Travel to unanticipated client locations. This position will report to company headquarters in Chesterfield, MO. The position must be willing to travel anywhere domestically in the US and may be assigned to work at client sites across the US. International travel is not required.
