AUTOMATED BUILDING COMPONENTS Production Worker Helper in CHETEK, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: BEP Lyman LLC dba ABC (ABC Truss), headquartered at 1111 8th Street, Chetek, WI 54728, phone number: +1 (715) 924-4867, is looking to fill thirty (30) Production Worker Helper positions from 03/20/2025 to 12/15/2025. This is for full-time Peak-load temporary employment. Duties include: supplying or holding materials or tools and cleaning the work area and equipment. Workers will assist with general production work and assembling trusses. Workers will load lumber onto truss table at joints and fasten them with various tools, including hammers, nails, drills, screws, and application of glue. Workers may operate a roller to secure truss plates. The worker will load and unload items onto equipment for processing and package finished products for shipping. The worker will ensure products conform to the company\'s specifications. The production worker will accurately record the product\'s data and pull damaged or ineffective equipment off the processing line. Special Requirements: Three (3) months of production or related experience required. Must be able to lift seventy-five (75) lbs. frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to pass employer-paid pre-employment, post-accident, and other random drug testing. The pay rate is \$19.65 per hour, with overtime available at \$29.48 per hour, based on the hourly rate. Forty (40) hours per week from 1st shift:7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Monday to Friday),2nd shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday to Friday), 3rd shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Monday to Friday). The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 1111 8th Street Chetek, WI 54728, and will service clients within the Western Wisconsin nonmetropolitan area BLS/MSA, including the counties of Barron County. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites. A single workweek will be used in computing wages due Pay period is weekly. Employers provide housing and utilities to workers with a weekly payroll deduction of \$58.00. Employer will make all deductions required by law. Workers may be held financially liable for any willful or negligent damage to company equipment, property, or provided housing. The offered housing is optional for workers. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers will be reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker\'s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonably common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide the worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on-the-job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of he workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Three (3) months of production or related experience required.
