About the role

The purpose of this position is to lead a quality assurance program for multi-disciplined real estate project solutions for healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will mentor other team members in the development of project scope, schedules, budgets, and management of the design and construction of facilities such as hospitals, outpatient care facilities, clinics, and MRI Suites.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a quality assurance manager responsible for mentoring a team of project managers who are delivering all phases of construction projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, design, construction, owner test fits, and regulatory interaction.

  • Mentor the team in the evaluation and coordination of contract documents for outside construction contractors, including approval for payment applications to the Owner.

  • Apply broad industry experience to improve and/or introduce new business practices, policies, and procedures necessary to achieve organizational goals.

  • Mentor project managers in risk management/mitigation and prioritization with a budget, scope, schedule, and communications to prevent negative impacts on the projects.

  • Lead and develop program initiatives intended to improve project manager compliance or adoption of new processes and procedures.

  • Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to identify problem areas and develop and implement strategies for improvement. Analyze metrics and data to track progress.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, or a combination of equivalent education and experience in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, construction management, or design/construction management for surgical suites, hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities preferred.

  • Broad construction industry experience in scheduling, budgeting, scope management, design process, vendor management, requests for proposals, LOIs, negotiation of terms and conditions, contract development, and award of work.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with software MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Manager position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Project Manager is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
