IHG Assistant F&B Manager - InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day F&B operations, ensuring quality and service standards are consistently met across all outlets.

  • Monitor and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through regular interaction and feedback collection.

  • Oversee the scheduling, staffing, and training of F&B team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.

  • Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to in accordance with local regulations and hotel policies.

Financial Management:

  • Assist in preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the F&B department.

  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, food, and beverage, to achieve financial targets.

  • Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.

  • Assist in analyzing sales data and market trends to develop strategies for revenue growth and cost reduction.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of the F&B team to ensure a high level of performance and engagement.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and a culture of excellence.

Guest Experience:

  • Ensure that all guests receive a personalized and memorable dining experience, exceeding their expectations.

  • Address and resolve guest complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus and dining experiences that align with guest preferences and brand standards.

Strategic Planning:

  • Assist in developing and implementing F&B strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the hotel.

  • Support the Director of Restaurants & Bars in driving marketing and promotional activities to enhance the visibility and appeal of the hotel’s dining venues.

  • Participate in regular departmental meetings to discuss performance, strategies, and action plans.
