What you'll be doing:

You will be working within the Collateral Evaluation Services Group (CESG), an 11-person team responsible for completing Commercial Appraisal, Residential Appraisal, Environmental and Flood collateral due-diligence throughout the US.

You will be part of CESG’s Residential Appraisal program involving the front-end or procurement process, engaging and managing residential appraisals throughout the US- training will be involved.

You will monitor and track 100’s of appraisal assignments annually over the life of the assignment addressing concerns emanating from out outside third-party appraisers and the line of business.

You will provide appraisal guidance to loan originators with respect to the appraisal procurement process.

You will solicit bids and timing from appraisers, acquire bid approvals, engage appraisers, monitor appraisal assignments, and check-in appraisals.

Identify, report, and provide collaborative working solutions to the Residential Appraisal Manager regarding internal processes problems, and client interaction issues.

Work with CESG’s Senior Record’s Officer as the Records Retention Coordinator, assisting with the identification and updating of new Records and changes to existing Records.

Assist with the shipment, retrieval, and destruction of Records with any off-site storage service provider, including other LOBs and third parties.

Escalate issues, when necessary, to the SRO related to the Data Lifecycle Management, Data Governance, and Records Management program.

Collaborate with CESG team members, listening to their thoughts, and sharing ideas enabling the team to achieve their goals.

Who you are:

  • In office work 1-3 days per week

  • Candidate having experience in the real Estate Appraisal industry is a plus

  • Technical skills in the Microsoft Office suite, Excel and Word

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent research skills and analytical capabilities

  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to effectively prioritize
